Most travelers to Vietnam are attracted by the country's wonderful natural beauty. Get experience the faded colonial elegance of Hanoi, the sheer wonder of Ha Long Bay, the majesty of Hue, the history of Hoi An, the beaches and islands of Nha Trang, the dynamic atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh city, the tranquil backwaters of the Mekong Delta. The North, Central, and South of Vietnam all bear a deep cultural trace, which will remain in our memories and others for years.

After spending a tour on Ha Long bay, we were brought on a smaller vessel to head south for Cat Ba Island. Before hitting to isolated and privilege beach for swimming, do a trek through the national park and climb up to the apex of an observation tower to have panoramic views of the island. Leaving the beach, everyone had lunch served by a funny and hospitable woman, who told us the legend of Ha Long bay. The Hanoi capital is an attractive destination with its own culture characteristics. The prior visit was a small wooden pagoda stands in a muddy dam just around the corner from the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum. Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, is also a must-see in Hanoi divided into five landscaped courtyards. Here you also can see a very wide bell… try ringing it one time, why not? Tam Coc landscape, including three nice grottoes, takes rowing ship to discover the natural beauty. The massive outcrops are impressive, however can be a little unsatisfied as there were less birds and other wildlife than expected. Unfortunately, our boat was rowed by a very thin woman who sometimes must stop to rest because of her hand fatigue. There is pressure to purchase from the scams operated by other locals at the turn-round point and your rower will require more money at the stop place. To ensure we were able to experience as much as possible during the excursion, we booked the journey with Indochina Lands, a Vietnam travel agent, organizes tailor-made travel and all tours throughout Indochina.

A Hoi An with multicolored lantern nights are great for a sparkling and mysterious view, stimulating anybody’s curiosity. It was also a great experience when biking to a peaceful village, walked around a vegetable garden and did gardening activities together with farmers. Hue Citadel owns special feudal remnants of immense architectural and cultural values. Even below the rain! It was still very crowded. When visiting the site, go with a freelance tour guide so that you get all the information about the history of the site. Tu Dam pagoda, set on a nice piece of land: high, bulky and flat, is our next stop. It was very crowded with lots of middle-aged ladies who came to pray for health, wealth; peace...

In Saigon, the central post office with the main entrance adorned with intricate ironwork will certainly impress you. Another impressive site was Municipal Theater, a magnificent building ornamented with an outdoor lighting system. And if you need something to drink, replace a few things in your backpack or purchase souvenirs for friends and family, head to Ben Thanh market, an interesting destination, sells the whole thing particularly many food stalls each serving a different kind of Vietnamese cuisine. Price is usually higher than elsewhere, and you need to prepare for haggling, aggressively. Along the Mekong roads, we saw tons of boats in a variety of shape on the river and enjoyed the daily life of this region. People were very funny and helpful. They prepared a dinner of delicious Mekong specialties, remarkably rice pancake which is crammed with shrimps, meat and soya bean sprouts and can be dip little in fish sauce. The atmosphere is warmed up by humorous stories from our helpful host. The success of Vietnam travel is enhanced by its greatest treasure: people.
